Marine Creek Ranch

Fort Worth, Texas

Marine Creek Ranch Section 15 & 16 is a 41-acre, 180 single family lot phase of the Marine Creek Ranch development in Fort Worth, north of the MarineCreek Reservoir. The design included grading, drainage, paving, water and sewer. The grading and paving were designed to manage the dirt balance on site. The storm drain design consisted of approx. 2,630 linear feet of storm pipe that included reinforced concrete pipe and reinforced concrete boxes.

mma designed also approximately 1,800 linear feet of two east bound lanes from Huffines Boulevard to Parkway Elementary School due west of Crystal Lake Drive. Improvements included roadway paving, drainage, street lights, pedestrian and bike facilities, a median break at Rockhaven Drive, and the restriping of the existing asphalt Cromwell Marine Creek Road from a two lane undivided roadway to a 4 lane divided minor arterial.

The project also included approximately 1,800 linear feet of a 10-foot hike and bike trail along the south side of Cromwell Marine Creek Road. As part of its engineering design, mma provided paving, water, and storm drain design. Our project manager continued to be involved with the project throughout construction. Coordination with the City Capital Improvement Department was required, as there is an active bond for the redesign and construction of the remainder of Crystal Lake Drive.
